what type of surgery are you haveing i have had 5 on the left knee and 6 on the right the last surgery was called an open VMO where they cut my vmo muscle and reatached it so my knee cap will move the right way anyway my first op. was to remove cartlige now i have no cartilage in my right new but after i had surgery for the ligemant repair i was able to walk out of the hospital it just depends on how they are going to do it are they going to make and incision or are they going to use the scope the scope is the better way and a faster recovery.anyway if you have any other questions you can e-mail me... I have a question regarding post-knee surgery recovery...I plan to have knee surgery early right when summer starts and I want to plan to go to school in the summer...maybe after a week I have the surgery, will I be able to go to school on crutches...? Or is it recommended to stay in bed all day for months...I understand I won't be athletic for a while but will I ever be the same again...after rehab and constand knee brace wearing? Will the surgery now cause future knee problems for me when I am older older? I can't believe I tore ligiments in my knee...I am so... thank you for your time and answers for these questions...If I have anymore after you reply to this message, can I e-mail again with additional questions or should I e-mail somewhere else... thanks again.
