Postarthroscopic glenohumeral chondrolysis (PAGCL) is a relatively new condition which is associated with the deterioration of cartilage in the shoulder following arthroscopic surgery. Such devastating condition results in severe pain and permanent shoulder limitations. There are currently no consistently effective treatments for the cartilage damage, and many require shoulder replacement surgery, known as glenohumeral arthroplasty.

I am looking for more information on Post Athroscopy Glenohumeral Chondrolysis (PAGCL).
After 3 shoulder surgeries, and having had a pain pump catheter after the 2nd one, I am still having pain and stiffness in my shoulder. I am wondering if I am perhaps a victim of PAGCL. Has anyone read up on this and know anything about it?
