Years ago, they wanted to fuse my shoulder but told me I most likely would not be able to play piano again. I taught piano and that was not an option. 9 years ago, I had a bone block (graft) done. I eventually went to work as a flight attendant but never had trouble with my shoulder until a couple of months ago. Now again, they want to fuse it. However, now they tell me I would have no problems resuming my work as a flight attenant. That job requires full range of motion. Has something miraculously changed with shoulder fusion in the last 10 years, or do they think I'm stupid because I'm a flight attendant?
