[br]Hi, I'm 16 years old and have been having shoulder subluxations for almost the past 3 years. I finally went to the doctor for it last summer, and he sent me back to physical therapy which hasn't done much help. I went back in February because it certainly was not getting better. He ordered an MRI, which showed no tissue damage, but the top of my shoulder bone apparently does not look normal? My doctor diagnosed me with multidirectional instability. He said that if it doesn't get better, or if it gets worse to come back-and it hasn't. Should I really go back? Last time he talked about a capsular shift if it does not improve, but I'm scared of surgery. Also, what could be wrong with my bone? Why else does my shoulder keep popping out if theres no tissue damage? Is it possible that the MRI didn't catch something? Thanks for your help. (:[br]-Andrea [br]
