What all do y'all do to keep your shoulders in shape years after your surgery? I posted "SLAP Lesion ROM pain 4 years later" giving a little detail on where I'm at now four years later. I still have some ROM pain but it's only at 5 degrees of an arm rotation over my head laying down. So not much, but I don't want it to get worse over time.

I find that lifting/unloading/loading/shuffling/stacking several tons of books at work in boxes min 30lbs each does my arm wonders. I don't just feel OK, I feel really good. So I think maybe a gym membership would do me good. I've always been physically active at work and play, so I've never needed a gym before. I remember the physical therapist telling me free lifting dumbells, especially straight up over the shoulder, is a no-no for guys my age (52 at the time) so I guess I'll hit the machines.
