Your best option is NEVER a Total Shoulder Replacement (TSR). The TSR is used only when all else has failed and there is nothing else that can be done to help the patient get rid of the pain. The TSR does not have very good outcomes, with most patient gaining only about 60-70% of their range of motion back. If you haven't tryed physical therapy, try that first, and the look to have something else done before you ever consider a TSR.Ryan, SPT

I'm 65 years old and I like to play tennis. In 1968 I had a Magnuson Stack done to my shoulder, because it partially subluxated 3 times over a ten year period. I knew very soon after the operation that I made a bad decision to have that operation. My Shoulder is very arthritic now. I just can't get a good range of motion with my shoulder and it effects my tennis very negatively. Is it possible to have my shoulder rebuilt so that I can get a more normal range of motion?
