Sorry, I should have said what was different: The manipulation worked for the first shoulder. The stages were more defined, the manipulatin and then therapy worked, I exercized and I regain full use of my shoulder within 9 months of the diagnosis. This time I just cannot tolerate p.t., I had different onset problems - I went to p.t. last Sept for shoulder 'looseness'/strenghtening (the p.t. and I laughed that at least it wasn't f/s this time - should was just too loose - no muscle tone). The first f/s started May 2001. I don't know when to start counting the onset of this one! Lynn

Lynn, Sorry to hear about your 2nd FS. When did you have your MUA? Also, you said...the 2nd FS isn't going like the first...what did you do for the first FS? Marah

Hi All: I have f/s in my second should right now. This one was diagnosed in January and I've already had 2 cortisone shots (neither one helped), a nerve block (didn't help), manipulation. My shoulder still hurts and I can't move it much. This is so different from my first experience. I don't have diabetes or any other known health problems. I have another apt. with the ortho on Thursday. Any ideas about what I can ask him in terms of further treatment? Thanks for any suggestions. I'm getting really tired of this pain/lack of movement/medication cycle! Lynn
