My shoulder surgeon mentioned this as an option to me prior to my TSR. Since it's not FDA approved for shoulders, insurance wouldn't cover it. I was told it was a series of 3 injections and each were $1000. A friend of mine had them in his knee and didn't see any improvement so I opted not to try it.

Re: Bone Spurs I recently had surgery to remove a bone spur in my shoulder, after surgery I was told I was bone on bone in some areas. I have been asking about synvisc injections but have been told this procedure is not FDA approved. I would like to know if there are any free clinical trials going in central florida to try this
