Do not worry, the surgery will go fine. Why are you thinking about the negative stuff? Your main concern should be your treatment and nothing else.

All are worries about surgery, but if you want to re-assemble your self in short time, then you must go for surgeries.

I sustained a comminuted proximal humerus fracture 8 days ago. both the tubercles, surgical neck and anatomic neck were fractured (4 part) along with the humeral head. The orthopedist wants to wait for two weeks and follow conservatively until a callus is seen before making a decision. He discussed with me the pros and cons. My concern is with the outcome. Pain is something that is managable My question to all is: Does this seem correct with waiting? I have already talked to 2 surgeons in the group and they concur with waiting. I would rather have the procedure done asap. This injury may very well end my career as a chiropractor. /Thank you
